Location
A hotel since 1918, this family-run establishment is located just 1.5 kilometres from Wenceslav Square and offers the typical atmosphere of old Prague. Three Crowns is situated in a residential neighbourhood between Zizkov and Prague 1, and comprises two cream-painted Art Nouveau buildings on the corner of a cobbled street. The bright, modern lobby has parquet floors and a Barcelona-style chair. Czech business travellers and tourists stay here for the quiet location and easy access to the centre. Vitkov Park, 100 metres from the Three Crowns, is set on the side of a hill and topped by an imposing constructivist concrete building that is the National Monument, and a huge equestrian statue of Hussite military leader, Jan Zizka. Its winding paths are popular with joggers, and afford panoramic views over the old town of Prague.
